Gift cards
You can buy gift cards at samsclub.com to get the Amex credit. Samsclub.com sells many physical and egift cards at a discount. You can also buy Sam's Club gift cards at face value with free shipping. Sam's Club gift cards can be used either at Sam's Club in club, samsclub.com, at Walmart stores and walmart.com.
Gift of membership cards can be used as regular $45 gift cards. If you ship these to most states, sales tax is added to your order but your card will still only be worth $45. You will get your full value only if you can ship them to one of the few states where sales tax is not added.
For a completely free purchase, use the Sam's Club Android app to buy two $10 Sam's Club gift cards, or four of them if you are splitting the payment between two enrolled Amex cards. I haven't had issues with SC GC activation emails either. But certainly not with third party GC

Anyone get the credit multiple times for one AMEX card?

I ordered immediately after the deal became active and it disappeared from my offers and went to redeemed. This morning I checked my AMEX offers and it was once again under added deals. I bought another GC and immediately received the email saying I would get the credit a second time. Now, it still shows as an available deal on my account (granted my second purchase is still pending).

If you don't get it a second time they may manually add for you once you show them the email....

I know multiple credits have been YMMV when using one AMEX card. I just think its weird that the offer disappeared from my added deals section for months and then suddenly reappeared. Makes me wonder if I can keep redeeming it as long as the offer shows up in that column. I think the max for people in the past has been 12 or so of the same offer for one deal

It's also quite strange it reappeared since the deal is essentially dead. It's maxed out for everyone...

Yup. This is the same exact card I used this time around. Got the credit 1st time around. Now, got another email for credit after 2nd purchase on the same exact card. Don't think its a new sam's club offer because it has the same expiration date as the last one.

+ I check my Amex Offers almost every couple days and know for sure that it wasn't there last time I checked Saturday morning. (its easy for me to remember because I only have 2 amex cards and no authorized users)

Nope. Bought a Dunkin Donuts gift card and have had 0 contact with sam's club since then. just placed a 3rd order. didnt get another offer used email which is disappointing but im hopeful that I will get credit for both this 2nd and 3rd order.
