When u try placing an order with serve, even if it doesn't go thru they put a hold on the funds. Using the 3 digits on the back worked for me, but i had to add money to the card first. Took a few days until the hold was realized

My serve has 4 digits on the front. (which worked for me)

If i used the serve card first then the 4 digits on the front worked. If i input it second the 3 digits on the back worked

Yes, by price. They just write on the voucher s/t like "May be used for equivalent...". In fact, you could use it for any item, even non-food (up to that value). Despite all the grumbling here about SC, in the store they are very pleasant and accommodating.

Thanks guys. If I had not seen these posts, I probably would have forgone the free food. When I was activating my membership with the Groupon, I pointed out that I can't use the food vouchers and asked if they could substitute kosher items. At first I was told no, but then (with this thread in mind) I mentioned that others who bought the Groupon were able to get substitute items. The rep called her supervisor who told her to give me a SC GC for the value of the food items.

I didn't have any luck last week. Will try again this week.

You should have received 2 emails from sc for each gc when it shipped out. One says "your order has shipped" & one says "your sams club gift card has shipped". The latter should have an activation link. If you didn't receive that email you probably need to call
