I think the limit is 4 or 5, but you could just purchase e-gift cards in higher denominations if you want to use more and make your final purchase with the new e-gift cards.

For those who haven't made orders yet, I've heard from other sources that you can buy the $45 gift of membership, and it works like a regular gift card. AND it seems those did not have the activation issues. just click on the link in the email and it activated.

I'm still on over a week and counting of contacting numerous CSR and supervisors, and none of my $50 SCGC are activated yet. noone has even an estimate on when it will be resolved.

It does seem, though, that the reason none of the activations are working is because the activation link was activating the gift card with one digit off starting "6009" instead of "6109" which is the actual gift card number. so they in essence are activating the wrong gift card - not the one they shipped to you. If you look at the packing slip with your card, you will probably see that the shopping card # listed is one off.

are you sure? I rmmbr hearing that it can be converted to a gc by cs desk in store.and youll need to explain etc.

don't know from first hand. seems like it for sure will work online/self checkout. if you bring to cashier, they may give issues. but I believe it says on the back that it can clearly be used for merchandise or membership, so you can always just show that to rep.

but again, this is not first hand info.

don't think it will help someone else, as that gift card probably doesn't exist, and even if it did, probably something wouldn't match with pin number/activation code...

i actually tried to check balance of the gift card, and put in the # as 6009 instead of 6109, but it said gift card numbers don't match. (prbbly cuz of the pin)
