I finally got my gift card credited with the $50 but I'm going to avoid that this time by buying the $45 membership. DDFers have stated that the membership card can be used as a $45 gift card for WM or SC. Will I get the membership card in the mail or email? I just ordered the membership and be order details say "not shippable" yet I didn't get the card in my email. How do I get the membership card with $45 on it?

Edit-- or was I supposed to buy the "gift of membership"??

Yeah, you want to buy the "gift of membership." They mail you a $45 gift card in the mail. Sounds like you just signed up for a new membership instead.

Some people might prefer larger denominations if they intend to use them online, as there's a max of 4 gift cards per transaction.

You can combine them on Walmart.com or at a self checkout in a Walmart store

How did you do it. When I add to cart it automatically changes it to 10 X $10
I only want 2 X $10 as I only have one Amex that I did not use yet at sams

This doesn't work if you don't have a paid membership as far as I can tell. the app doesn't let you remove the 45 dollar membership fee

A few weeks ago, the iPhone app would allow me to remove the membership fee but it doesn't work anymore.

Sorry i havent had a chance to go through this entire thread but does WM allow you to use their gift cards to buy other third party gift cards in store ?? If yes what kind of card works (do visa, mc amex work) ? Also whats the best option to checkout (cashier or self checkout)

Would appreciate your thoughts

I tried to buy Visa GC at self checkout and could not. I brought it to a cashier, who told me they can't accept the Walmart GC as payment for this item or any other GC. How would you answer recklessmax's question?
