If only I didn't constantly have problems with the trees that Bloomy planted in my neighborhood.

What problems do you have with Blomberg's trees, besides the ones that give off a really bad smell?

I can't stand in front of my house because of the birds overhead.

The ones in my neighborhood (I'm not in Brooklyn btw) seem to attract ridiculously sized beehives which the city refuses to remove because it's a natural part of the ecosystem.

Probably not, but who's keeping track of all the trees...

Only if it's on your actual property. If it's on the strip between the sidewalk and street, where they planted these trees, that is actually owned by the City and the property owner is granted an easement for permitted uses such as making a driveway entrance or planting flowers there to enhance the aesthetic beauty of the property.

The city
Alol, the only thing I'd be worried about is a stupid neighbor that has too much time on their hands and loves trees. (Though I'd speak to somebody that has experience because I'd whip out the chainsaw)

City-planted trees have been known to die of poisoning. Just saying.

Call a private beekeeper (i know one in queens/kgh) and ask if they can remove the bees [for free]. Many beekeepers would love to take a hive home, especially if they are honeybees.
