TLV Rental - Load up roof?
« on: May 12, 2015, 05:08:27 PM »
Am renting a Mazda 3 with Hertz or Avis in TLV. Does anyone have experience loading up the the roof with luggage?

There are no roof racks as far as I remember. Do they allow, and how is the best way to do it?

Be careful with scratches....they are brutal with charging for them.

I guess I would put soft luggage or put down a cloth.

But would they even allow it from the airport? Any experiences?

probably not, have someone meet you downstairs with the rest of the luggage

You should be able to fit that into a car with some good packing skills...
