Best place to buy products in bulk?
« on: May 20, 2015, 09:13:11 AM »
Someone wants to donate (good) tissues for my Shul. (Specifically the Kleenex/Puffs type, so the mispalelim aren't stuck with Aspen.) what is the best place to order them in bulk & have them shipped directly to the Shul?

TIA
i wish i knew what i was doing...

The way I do it for my family may not work for your shul.
I keep an  eye on sales and fill up.
The kolel store (KRM) often has good sales on an 8 box case.  Amazon -Dan alerts me to S&S deals.
I have too many in my basement, but it may not reach the level of shul use.
Good luck.

Picky, aren't we? So sorry that your poor yeshivaman nose cant be soivel Aspen. C'V that you should be happy that someone donates tissues. This post is endemic (ckmk47 thats for you) of today's spoiled rotten society.
Thats a pretty disgusting comment IMO since there is someone who clearly offered to donate good tissues.

Someone wants to donate (good) tissues for my Shul.

I may be a turd or whatever else you wish to call me but that is a sad statement as well. You're "stuck"??? What you think of me is none of my business.

Amazing that because I asked for help to get better tissues for the rest of the people in my Shul, someone feels that it's ok to insult me. Hvaces42, I don't know what unresolved issues you have that you need to attack me, it's not like anyone disagrees that Kleenex is better than Aspen. Here, myself and my friend want to do something for the kehilla, by working (him by providing the money, me by doing the ordering & putting out the boxes) to get better tissues for everyone.

Maybe you want me to send a few boxes your way as well?

I Had been buying in Costco, but we really wanted to make a very big order so that the Shul doesn't have to constantly restock. Thanks.

Yeah, I guess. I just don't want this to devolve into a discussion about why I can't be happy with Aspen instead of actually being able to help my Kehilla.

And what you call trolling is more commonly known as less than stellar middos.

That's what I told my wife this morning when we were in an argument. I said, "I don't have bad middos. I'm just trolling you!"

i agree with your donor. The right tissues (or running out) can make or break a 3-day Yom tov for some people.
The thinner kleenex are softer than aspen and will flush better than the Puffs. Here's one that will get to your shul before Shavuos with Prime shipping:
 http://www.amazon.com/Kleenex-Facial-Tissue-Count-Pack/dp/B00B9OYLC4/ref=sr_1_12?s=hpc&ie=UTF8&qid=1432135533&sr=1-12&keywords=kleenex

(and you can buy 2 of them, and it's half the cost per box of the freight liquidators link!) -- it's good to have more, smaller boxes around than a few big ones. Just ask a child to open them all before YT.)

why don't you get abunch of cases of the Kirkland tissues which happen to be on sale now. I find them to be comparable.
