IIRC Moishy Roth composed it. I don't think it's been recorded anywhere prior.

I don't remember offhand it it appeared on another album, but according to jlyrics it was composed by Chaim Klutzkin.

Beautiful version, and IMO, a gorgeous album. (Though I questions whether Yonatan Shainfeld's really played, or is he just "lip-syncing" the piano performance.)

  What's your guys take on this Singer, Yidi Bialostozky?

 I happen to think he's amazing, powerful but still comes across with a soft voice.
 Uses his whole body to sing and brings out the beauty of each song..

He's been spotted at many weddings and simchos singing.
   Good chance he'll BeH make it big out there at the rate he's going.
  Curious what you guys think of him?
 Seems you can Google his name and more songs come up.

Didn't watch it, but I assume @Dan won. I consider him a much better singer overall.

I didn't catch all of it, in part due to their technical difficulties, but what I saw was quite entertaining. I can tell you that Mordy was amazingly quick at name-that-tune, while Benny was slow and steady.  It seemed like they were pretty evenly matched overall, and I'm not sure if they even kept score for most of it.  But a lot of fun was had by all, and I think they ultimately declared Yachad, the organization behind the event, the winner.

Sounds really nice. In contrast to Fried, this album seems to have many more classic and hidden gems of the past, while Fried focused mostly on new songs. Will post more after I get a better listen.
