I understand the quote much better now. I do see how for him it is a beautiful expression of love for Hashem. I wonder if it is the same for many of those listening to it. It is music that will be spiritually uplifting for some and will likely bring others down.

I would change this quote
I am unfamiliar with his music but the emotions she describes it as evoking do not seem conducive to growth for most of the consumers of Jewish music. Sounds like more of a step down than up.

To say that I sceptical most consumers of Jewish music will take the spirituality out of it.
Just because things turned out a certain way doesn't mean you were right.
