Does anyone happen to have the jacket for Black Hattitude?

(I've been looking for it for more than 20 years after I lent my copy to someone who never returned it :/ )

Thanks, but I'm specifically looking for the ancillary info in the jacket. The lyrics are already "engraved on my heart" :)

(There are numerous errors in the transcription on genius...I tried fixing them, but the OP needs to approve and he's seemingly AWOL.)

Maybe someone can help me with this. For years, I've been trying to find the original song to "A Shabbos in Kretchmir" from "When Zaidy Was Young 3". It says on the jacket that it is a Camp Naarim classic (I believe Rabbi Shmuel Kunda zt"l started/worked at Camp Naarim). Does anyone know the original song of "A Shabbos in Kretchmir", and/or knows of a place where I could find the song or the words?

I had a friend who didn’t learn a word in Mesivta, when he was taking a farher for Bais  Medrash he was all anxious, I told him to rap for them the whole black hattitude (he knew it word for word), and they’ll see he’s a baal kishron  ;D

The words are Yom Zeh Mechubad from shabbos zemiros. Not sure where it can be found.

Don't know about the song but you are correct, R Kunda was a partner and director of Camp Na'arim. More than 35 years after being a camper there I still tell me kids parts of the stories that he used to tell on shabbos afternoon on the quad. A couple of hundred kids sitting on the grass listening to him...

The song was composed by Rabbi Moti Rosenberg, who worked together with Rabbi Kunda in Camp Ne'arim. It was often sung in Camp Ne'arim on Shabbos, for Yom Zeh Mechubad, and Rabbi Kunda was a big fan of the song. When Shimmy Shtauber made When Zaidy Was Young 3, he asked Rabbi Rosenberg to make English lyrics to the song so that it can be used on the album. I don't think it was ever recorded previously.

Without hesitating, I name a current favorite, “Akiva,” off their newest album, Inner Flame.

“Perfect,” Shmuli nods. “I wrote the lyrics as a fast song, imagining one thing; Bentzi heard something else. He rewrote it in a totally different way.”

Hmm, I wonder if it really was built off the original Akiva...

Stam, this is what I thought of Akiva back then

Akivah is a stunning melody - almost haunting, and yet another terrific job lyrically. The arrangement is simple and beautiful, with the aforementioned strings giving it an emotional feel that really pulls you in.

I hear where you are coming from, but if that's your yardstick, every single song is a copy of a previous song.

It was (obviously, I thought) tongue in cheek, based on the thematic similarities, not tunes.
