Most of this did not have a Journeys feel IMO.

I'm not saying it is going to be a bad album. it's just a new sound for abie that i'm not used to. I said the same thing about Journey's 4 (and my opinion hasn't changed on that)

I spent way more time on this than I should have, so I'm doing the egotistical cross post

Also on Jewishmusic.fm https://jewishmusic.fm/album/it-sounds-like-purim/#
Only the 3rd track actually plays on my computer. Does anyone else have the same?
Is this a marketing tactic or a glitch?

I just bought the album at Aisle 9 in Lakewood. They charged $21 for it, but the first track justified that price. After hearing the second, I would pay $121. And I'm only getting started.

I have no words. As the album plays, I try to focus on all the "critic" things, like the music, mixing, etc, but I am finding that impossible. Everything just melts away before the magical, ultra-precise brilliance of the lyrics carried by such meticulously soulful tunes. The painfully raw emotions of each line is so blatant, it's almost overwhelming.

I don't think I am going to post anything further about this album for now. Maybe later, when I get to know it a lot better, I'll be in a better position to take a step back and look at it from an objective angle.
