My son's piano teacher was complaining that Jewish piano music is only written for the right hand. She is an older lady with real music training. So she wrote arrangements for the left hand for many Jewish songs.
1) Is her complaint correct? (I know very little about music)
2) If not, where can I find it for her?
3) If yes, is there someone here that knows people that can take her handwritten music and publish it, so it can available for others?

That's kinda what annoys me, they poured so much into it, and for what? There's no story line, no meaning, nothing. Just a bunch of dudes having a blast dressing up as pirates.

A. A song with a "yiddish taam" (however you define that).
B. A song with an identifiably jewish message
C. A song with a message that can be (creatively) interpreted as one rooted in the torah/chazal
D. absence of any inappropriate language/content
E. Other (please explain)

B & C
Also E - instrumentals that don't have a version with words. If it's played by a band that produces B & C, or by somebody who looks like a religious Jew (wtvr that means), it's gonna also be a Jewish song. But maybe this is A?

There as plenty of non-Jewish songs that are perfectly kosher (D).

For me, any song that is at least D, is good enough for me and my kids.
