What does "Ploni Almoni presents" (on an album cover) typically signify?

The producer oversees the whole project and is the glue that keeps it all together. They'll be key in picking songs, guiding the composers, arrangers, singers, etc on how they should style their contributions and what sound to be aiming for.

Any reviews on the new Isaac Honig album? Is it new songs or not - I'm not sure what this means:

Was it worth the buy anyways? Or is it a one-listen album?

Spotify is worth it.

I just bought the album. Seems like mostly older songs, but some new (including one from his son, who writes a nice letter at the end of the album PDF). I attached the PDF here in case anyone is interested.

"Included on the album are also two NEW songs. One is by the golden composer of Chassidic music, R’ Moshe Goldman A”H, that was NEVER BEFORE recorded!" (From Gruntig)

Wow.

My wife is a special education teacher and is passionate about bringing out every kid's strengths (and bh very successful at it!). I showed her this video and she was tearing up the whole time. She's seen kids struggle through so much pain in school, and this video really hits home. Thank you for sharing it here.

Three less know Elul/Yomim Noraim tunes that IMO deserve wider attention
Hakshiva - from Slichos (Nusach Sfard day one, Lita day two)
I first heard it sung at the Belzer Motzoei YK tisch and was blown away...

Adon Olam - As sung in Belz on Yom Kippur

Titen Acharit Leamecha - from YK Mussaf Chazaras Hashatz. It's after the Asara Harugei Malchus, part of the piyutim that many kehillos just mumble through... Pretty sure it's based on a carlebach tune. this version is popular in the Chardal world, sung at chuppos ect...

Pretty sure it's based on a carlebach tune.
Extremely well known tune, it's in the video description:
לחן: ר' שלמה קרליבך זצ"ל (נחמו עמי)

Inside Artscroll interview with Abie Rotenberg, about his new book on Rabi Akiva. https://www.artscroll.com/Books/rakivah.html

At 6:10 mark, the interviewer notes that he has a song (on Journeys 1) about Rabi Akiva, and asks a trivia question if anyone knows of an English song by Abie that mentions Eliyahu Hanavi, who is the subject of his first Artscroll book.

I wonder how many people got it.

Click "quote" on this post for the song I got.

My answer: The English 'Hamalach Hagoel' that he sang at HASC 7. "Now this Malach just might be an angel, or Eliyahu Hanavi"

That's crazy! $35 for a CD?!

I happen to love his style. There is one (underrated) song of his from his old album that I can't get over.
