I haven't heard the album carefully enough to have an opinion yet but I wasn't blown away.
There is a ton of screaming in this album.

When he sings, there are few better. What a sad waste of incredible talent
It's quite bad from listening to it all day today. And I usually love me some Shlomo Simcha.

I'm a huge fan of ashira la'hashem
I heard it a few times now, there are some decent songs but all in all not from his best and yes... what's with all the creaming??? why does he scream so much?

The song "דע, ש כל חכמה וחכמה שבעולם יש לה זמר ונגון מיחד שזה הזמר מיחד לחכמה זו, ומזה הזמר נמשכת החכמה הזאת"
what album is it on?

I think it's S. Leiner, but I can't seem to find it?

The song "Shabbos Yom menuchah... me'ein olam haba" with an interlude of "na na na na na na na na na na na na" - anyone recognize, know where it's from?

Cholent: Seems to me that you're refering to a song on the album Raza Dishabbos by Yitzchok Rosenthal (of Shalsheles, though that album was not a Shalsheles album, and that specific song wasn't composed by Rosenthal). The song was sung by (then) child soloist Yosef Wartelsky. For all who are not familiar, check it out. It's really beautiful.

Sorry for the repost. Didn't realize there was this thread.

Does anyone have the cover insert for the MBD Just One Shabbos, and/or the Suki and Ding Zemiros albums?

Unfortunately only way to get it is to buy the whole album, and this is the only song I'm particularly interested in

You can stream it here:

Track 5

You can probably download it using your browser's developer tools

Only the old albums are streaming, not the new one, right?

Thanks.

They are available to listen to on Dartmouth's Jewish Sound Archive if you have access.

What's the deal with this song? Gertner puts it out as his title track, and then he puts it out as a solo effort, complete with a video that shows it was in the works for a long time. Then why would he give it to Gertner?

In the end credits of the video there's the following:
