Open letter to any composer and producer of music on the forums:
I think there is a certain niche in music that hasn't been touched by the Jewish industry that has potential. I don't think there is a name to this genre of music it's just called "epic music". It's basically just music without any people singing. But it's not comparable at all to classical music. The emotions that can be evoked through this type of music is much more intense. I personally enjoy this type of music very very much and would love to see Jewish composers trying to make such music.
If you search on YouTube for "epic music" you can find plenty of examples made by goyim. But alot of them have choirs of men and women singing in them. And a lot of them have not tzniusdik thumbnails. So I'll try to find links that are suitable in that respect and post them here for you to understand how this music is different than anything else.
There is a reason that I think that this type of music might not be appropriate for frum people.
Let me start by saying that this type of music can be separated into two types. One is emotional/sad/uplifting type, and one is epic/heroic type. So the epic/heroic type can bring about a feeling of "kochi ve'otzem yodi asa li es hachayil hazeh". But I still think that if you have the proper mindset when listening to such music, it shouldn't be a problem.
This type of music isn't expensive to produce as far as I know. One person can do it all on FL Studio, it just takes time. So why isn't there a single CD with such music?
