I've been told by an insider in the JM industry that Isaac Honig sells a vast amount of albums, far more than any other singer in his caliber.

Although he didn't specify a reason, I think it's obvious. The demographic he caters to often does not own computers or smartphones, so copying it is not prevalent there. He puts out an album once every 10 years (generally), and it's top quality, classic songs. Everyone in his demographic buys it, as well as many in the litvish world.

Why is Shir3 only available on Apple music and not available for purchase on Amazon music?
 Wouldn't mind using my No rush credits to buy the CD.

They do, but it is in fractions of pennies. I think upthread there is a breakdown of how much Spotify and others pay, and it really is not a lot. The money is in live performances. But that has not changed, albums were always called business cards

Right now I am at 37 of 46 and I have another 4 or five elsewhere. Maybe more. A couple I have the tape but haven't yet converted them to digital.

I think I own most of them as well. I always had an interest in English songs, and as per the psak of every rov I asked, copying music is against halachah. I bought a lot of albums over the years, though many of them were at discount rates.

I wish there would be a place to purchase old JM albums (I'm talking really old, and really obscure albums) at reasonable prices. And no, mostlymusic.com selling an album from 1998 for $15.99 doesn't count.

I spent hours browsing the discount bins in MostlyMusic (when they still had tapes) and in GalPaz in Eretz Yisroel
