It didn't, which is just as well, as there is enough triggering going on elsewhere on the forum.

At least no one is pulling the trigger…

In honor of Yud Shevat, please share your favorite (or any interesting really) renditions of any of the Lubavitcher Rebbes’ niggunim, bonus points if they’re funky and/or from non-Lubavitch artists (hope that doesn’t come across as weird, most of the Lubavitch versions are too traditional), looking for eclectic stuff.

Here’s a personal favorite:

Also really enjoy C. Lanzbom and Noah Solomon’s The Chabad Sessions album

I haven't listened to either of these (and don't know the nigun):

Do you want to play a board game, digitally or in Lakewood NJ? PM me. (Can be asynchronous, i.e. take turns whenever)

This is beautiful. The niggun was virtually made for violin instruments.

Thanks for both links!

Thanks. There are endless Chabad niggunum. I was specifically asking about niggunim attributed to the Chabad Rebbes, and for covers/performances that stood out or were different.

Speaking of which, pay close attention to how the first stanza goes (and how when it's repeated it's different). A personal pet peeve of mine when people automatically go back to the beginning before the stanzas over.

I had Boruch Levine's Off The Record 2 playing, and he got up to Jewish Child. After the song finished, I rewinded it and listened again. Then I promptly turned on Megama...
