New SPG AMEX Starwood Benefits

I just got off the phone with customer service and they told me that the SPG Amex has several new benefits which will begin on August 11th

1. Free Boingo Wireless for up to 4 devices
2. No more foreign transaction fees
3. Free Wifi at all hotels

Not a bad addition to an already solid card!

That is going to be a great feature. Most of my SPG stays are at foreign hotels which is never worth it to use SPG and pay a foreign transaction fee for the extra points.

Hopefully the 30k limited time offer comes soon (historically summertime.)  And, hopefully it has the lower spend threshold ($3k.)

I wouldn't hold off on applying for cards if you are waiting for the 30k.

If you're planning on doing an AOR you'll end up losing other offers.

goes into effect august 11th ( same day as annual fee increase to $95)
