If I were a betting person I would bet they will raise 25bps, unless something major happens between now and the meeting/announcement. If you heard Mme. Lagarde speak today, I doubt Powell/FOMC would want to sound weak.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

Some CD's can be sold on the secondary market. Click on yours and see if you can sell it.  :)
Fidelity - CDs. Once an order is placed it states that the order can be cancelled until the settlement date. Can the Bank also cancel/readjust my order? Seems to be a no brainer easy way to hedge until settlement.

Its call protected. Says Good 'til cancelled and has a nice cancel button. When you click to cancel it then says "Attempt to cancel" so I guess its not guaranteed.

IDK if it means anything, but two 5.4% CDs I bought this week are showing a value about 0.35% higher than invested. I am wondering if these have a secondary market just like Treasuries, and can be traded prior to maturity.

Yes. Thatís one of the benefits of buying a brokered cd. There is no early withdrawal fee. If rates go down you will actually be able to sell at a profit. However, if rates stay the same or go up, you will have to forfeit the difference between the bid and ask price. On Schwab you can sell your cd by requesting a bid request.

I think his question is if the bank can cancel your order before it settles.

This cancel option up to settlement date sounds odd. T-bills you can't but never did a CD yet.

Looking to open up a brokerage LLC account, is there any one that is a cut above the rest for this type of account?

That surprises me for someone who is concerned about

With Schwab I am losing three days of interest on my MM shares used for the purchase?

at 5.4% annual yield.

I would have thought that 250k is chump change Vegas money. ;)
