I understand not wanting the current rate. Just make sure you're not still earning at the higher rate. The only way you want to pull out in 3 months is if they were bought in May or November (year doesn't matter).

Your financial health is our number one priority. We're glad you're here and we want you to know that we will continue to strive to earn your business and your trust.

Primis has some of the best liquidity ratios in the industry and capital ratios in the top half of our peer group. And, we plan to keep bringing you the most competitive offerings possible.

That's why we've increased the yield on your Primis Premium Checking account (the one already earning 5.03% APY). We want you to earn more. Effective May 05, 2023:
5.10% APY*

Don't forget: this APY equals an interest rate of 4.98%

Do you use them/recommend them? I use Capital One (for buying groups) and Chase (for everything else) and am getting no interest and definitely leaving money on the table with the rates you're mentioning.
Anyone have a recommendation for a checking account with a high interest rate like that that is decently convenient for simple things like taking in direct deposit/ACH, writing the occasional check, hooking up to zelle/venmo, etc?

Why don't you keep CaptialOne for BGs and just transfer the money to the new high yield account immediately? I do this

I think this primis account doesn't have Zelle, though all the other stuff should be able to access through routing number

Yeah that's a good idea. No reason to close CapOne since they have no minimums or requirements etc. And I can always leave a little in there for ATM cash and stuff.
I was doing a little research and some of of the high yield checking options I've seen seem to cap the good interest at the first 10k or 15k. This is probably perfect balance for me but I'd rather uncapped. They also seem to require 10, 12, etc monthly debit card transactions - which isn't a dealbreaker to set an alarm to add $12 bucks to my amazon 10 minutes a month or whatever but is definitely super annoying.
Primis doesn't seem to cap or have debit requirements. Anything else I should consider before openining this one?

Capital One has a savings account that pays 3.75% at the moment (360 Performance Savings).

The 4 week treasury jumped from last weeks auction to this weeks auction from 3.9% to 5.9% .

Not sure to expect the same for the 13 week which are available now. (Referring to auction not secondary market)
