Sprint has a WiFi calling feature that allows you to call over WiFii. They are giving the router for free and appears all you need is a phone that supports the feature. I called and they sent it out no questions. Here is more information about Wifi Connect. The router they are sending seems to be an ASUS RT-AC66U. Sprint does tell you that it belongs to them the first year but after that it is yours. Mine is on the way and unless I'm missing something (aside from having sprint!) it's a great deal!

Yeah. My plan is to use the router and not the Wifi calling feature. I have an Airave as well.

You sure this is real? There are a bunch of typos on the page. Did you call regular sprint customer service?

Yes it is real. I called regular customer service and they sent it out in. It was less than a 10 min call. I saw a thread on another deal site as well.

Did you tell them that you have a poor reception?

I just called them, they told me that they don't see the promotion on my account. I asked them to transfer me to tech support, and they said that even though that it's not on the account they could bypass it.

It took a 1/2 hour, but I got one shipped in the end.

I assume you have sprint as a cell phone provider?

I just told them I was calling to inquire about their WiFi Connect.

I have a business account so there is no point to try?

Reports on SD that people with business accounts are able to get as well. That guy called 1-866-556-7310.
