I did not get a cancellation from Sony, however, the pending charge was removed from my credit card.
I wonder if I took this to court. . .
Their terms of services state that "Unless otherwise indicated, the purchase price of Products will be billed in full at the time of Product shipment." So, the removal of the pending charge in of itself would not be a revocation of their contract.
The terms further state "If a Product's correct price is higher than our stated price, we will, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before shipping or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation." - again, if they dont notify, no cancellation.
Their terms have binding arbitration except for disputes under $15,000 - so for small orders, I can go to small claims court. Of course I can opt out of binding arbitration anyway.
So, if I don't receive an order cancellation email within a reasonable amount of time, I may try that path. $75 risk in NJ
