Ways to avoid Jury Duty
« on: June 01, 2015, 05:24:18 PM »
Any Ideas of different ways to avoid this nonsense?
Is ignoring it a possibility?
Can I be exempt if I'm a small business owner, need to take care of my children etc..?
If you feel more comfortable, please feel free to pm me instead with any relevant ideas or tricks.
TIA

Obviously it doesn't pertain to everyone, but I just pushed mine off (for the second time actually) until after I'll be moving out of state.

I am employed.  There are legal obligations that an employer must do when an employee needs to go. And if you are employer then i guess reschedule your day?

You can always say that you never received it, if it's not certified.
