Did you try the PH yet?

Yes, last time we did 2 nights there, one in a suite. It was nice, but it felt a bit dated, I did notice the service was slightly better but overall we both felt that we had rather just stayed in an Andaz standard room over the PH Suite. That being said I'm glad we tried it out last time, but we don't feel it is worth the extra 5k/night points.

You definitely should try it out. Both pools are amazing, the PH is a bit nicer because the higher ceilings give a more open feeling but the Andaz pool is still excellent.

Three nights at the Fairmont Beijing: using President's Club third night free and suite upgrade certificates.

Shabbat at Kehillat Zion in TST.
Two days of touring with China Highlights in PEK.

Bringing frozen meals for PEK.
Transit visa (free) for China (staying in PEK for 70h, but as of this week, could actually do 6d transit).

We have Sprint mobile service (unlimited for a year from last summer), which should provide free low-speed data free texting.

Eight days alone with DW.
