I am going to try and make it but the next day im taking my trip to Europe so may be busy. My preference is definitely manhattan

+1, let's do something cheaper (but decent) for a change. Clubhouse style (just less crowded) should be good.

If you can go early on a week night there is a website called savored.com. Reservations at 5:30 any weeknight at Mikes bistro 30% off. only other kosher restaurant is solo at 15% off

Group of 10 at Mike's will get you 30% off? Do they treat you like trash and feed you leftovers because you're getting the discount?

But the whole point is to get business early and I am sure they would not appreciate you staying till closing

Mike's doesn't have seating until 9pm on Savored on sundays, but Solo has 30% off the whole day.
Problem is that it doesn't let you reserve for more than a party of 6.

15% at solo is still very expensive. 30% might be manageable for me, but by no means cheap. Maybe someone wants to call Solo and see if they can negotiate 30% for a table of more than 6?

Looks like entrees are $26-$48 at Solo, with 30% off that's not too shabby!

What would happen if we made 2 table of 6 reservations?
Think they would have a problem if we wanted to combine them?

I indeed will bring one on the house (myself) and the rest can be prepaid.
Also, I know someone who manages the meat dept. of a certain kosher supermarket and can cut us custom made steaks, I once had by him a BBQ with like 2 inch steaks, awesome!
