I think we should stick to $25 attendance fee. For all I care Dan can bike to NYC, and pocket my $25.

As for SF (who chose to misconstrue my words), I'd be honored to meet you, SF, but I'm not paying for that honor. Period.
+1

Funny I should be saying this after my initial reservations over coming was the $$, but I think it's a good idea. For one thing it'll keep attendance only to those who are really serious about it...

although it is strange to see DDF'ers advocating having to pay for something, I guess it really is topsy-turvy day :)

The more you pay, the more miles you earn.

makes more sense now?

Ya, but they cut me off at just 2.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

I feel as if I'm discriminated against for my lack of posting in the forums. If I put up 42 quick posts do I qualify automatically, or do they need to be substantive?
Also, Dan, if you have 2 smicha certs can you use the second one like a systemwide upgrade?

for a start, you should've split your post, which has two totally unrelated topics, into two posts...
In order to understand recursion, you first need to understand recursion.

i don't think this is discrimination at all. it's like saying i feel that i'm being discriminated against, bc i can't run for mayor. there are certain prerequisites required to do certain things, if you don't meet those requirements, that's your problem...

I think you're right about there being enough junk-posters on here, but you've only Spent 2.5 hours on the site according to your stats.

Maybe he's trying to determine if Dan's Gemarah-kupp has what it takes to address the first half of his post :D

You're right, this is crazy.
Why should a DDF DO be limited only to DDF regulars?
