I haven't gotten a ticket for over a year
Impressive, but that's not never
One might argue that one year in NYC is more impressive then never in CLE.
I've don't know of a single person from here who's gotten a parking ticket in CLE. If you're foolish enough to park overnight on the street (when every single block says "no parking on city street 3-6am") then that's your own fault. Besides that you can call for an exception if you're really desperate for some reason.Nobody here even knows how to parallel park as there's no need for it anywhere. Every store has their own parking lot.Whereas in NYC I'd like you to find me the person who owns a car and has never received a parking ticket.
I read this post out loud to my apartment currently full of Clevelanders, and they responded in unison "What?!" and proceeded to say all the times they got parking tickets in Cleveland
Dan, it does happen! http://www.yelp.com/biz/cleveland-heights-police-department-cleveland-heightshttp://blog.cleveland.com/metro/2009/02/snowban_parking_tickets_soared.htmlhttp://blog.cleveland.com/metro/2010/01/cleveland_police_create_their.htmlhttp://www.wkyc.com/news/news_article.aspx?storyid=51260http://prairielaw.com/forums/t/98961.aspx
Yes they're all CHers
The funniest thing is driving from Beachwood, where no drop of snow on the street goes unpunished, down to CH where they don't even bother cleaning their streets...pathetic.
I'd guess property taxes are higher in Beachwood though.
Beachwood Property Tax=1.9%Beachwood Inome Tax=1.5%In Beachwood if you have extra garbage you call up sanitation and they send a truck out just for you...
Should be on DansDeals front page, sounds like a great deal
Well, to be fair:Cleveland Heights Median Home: $102KBeachwood Median Home: $229K
New York City Median Home sale price: $1,562,500
That's including Manhattan, Brooklyn is significantly lower.
True, but at 500K median home sale price, I wouldn't call Brooklyn a bargain.
