If you're not getting a group rate why not make 4x4 reservation and sit together once you get there.

We can definitely do 2 ressies of 8.
They won't necessarily have a table for 16 though.

Definitely. You can see if Solo wants to offer a generous discount in exchange for being the sponsor of the DDF DO along with a free ad...

I actually also have an "in" with ETC Steakhouse in Teaneck. Probably would hook us up with a generous discount.
Assuming people would rather not shlep out there though?

My "guy" has a good contact at Prime KO and at Solo. The manager at Prime KO said I should call him and he will take "good care of us", the question is should I rather try for Solo?

I agree. The ikkur is getting to meet and put a face to everyone.
If we can get a nice place to give a significant discount then I'm all for it and will gladly donate an ad to make it cheaper for everyone.
But otherwise I think coins at Le Marais sounds great! And teach 'em a lesson in the process...

If anyone wants to get rid of coins I'll take $60-100 at LM (in exchange for $20s or a payment via Amazon Payments/Paypal)

You can get steak, salad, and fries (or mashed potatoes) for $19.75+26.75% (tax/tip)=$25.03

I can already tell you my bill. Pepper steak with salad and fries or mashed potatoes ($33) and warm chocolate cake with ice cream ($11)=$44+26.75%=$55.77
