04/03/2011. It's confirmed. Location looks like it'll be Le Marais, but not 100% final yet.

That's what I thought too until a little while ago.  You wouldn't believe the depth of the whole coupon shitck. My friend's wife has getting all her groceries for free down to a science.  She's got closets full of stuff she gets for free.  The strategies she uses are pretty neat.  I've told her she ought to put her mind into miles!

Any interest in Wolf & Lamb? I know the manager there and I can ask him if he'll give us a more favorable group rate, discount for a DD ad, etc.

I've never been to any of the places mentioned here - including the above - so I can't recommend or compare one to another.

I think LM is better ambiance/food than W&L, though it's been a while since I've been to W&L, so may have gotten better since.

let's stick with LM,  it's not my favorite, but i've never heard anything too great about WL.
also, it's right across from the clubhouse which makes it easy for people to drink early and not have to drive in between

Aside from food quality and prices which I'm clueless about for both places, I'd say if a place is willing to accommodate our group - and we know LM has no interest in that - that should be a reason to switch. Another important factor is noise level. It sounds like that may be a problem at LM, I have no idea what W&L is like so I'm waiting to hear from someone who does know. I've also heard you can also request Lubavitch meat at W&L which is a plus for me, but  the DO is about us meeting each other more then looking for food to eat...

I completely agree with you. Only that some of the DO attendees may be more particular about these things, so I'm happy to accommodate and join them @ LM.
