Its Delta there is no good redemption on Delta.

I flew my family of 6 JFK-TLV in January on Delta for 300k FB (50k RT) in January.

i flew lag bomer family of 2 50k fb each and got back $800 + 7500 bf point for flight cancellation

Ah, in the winter it's easy to find tickets. About $800 and under plus easy saver redemptions. Summer is a whole other ballgame. But finding 7 on one flight is nearly impossible for summer! I remember my wife would get on the phone at midnight 330 days before we wanted to fly and staying on the phone for an hour or two trying to find [7] seats :-) Now we do it online.
