Chase Smart Business Tools - Jot and Zip
« on: November 15, 2011, 10:57:32 AM »
Have any of you noticed these two features from Chase Ink?

Jot seems to be a service to manage charges to your Ink cards, it offers alerts and tagging on the transaction level. From my brief Googling it seems this feaure was around for a few months now.

Zip was just launched, it seems to be an invoicing system with a paid Pro option that allows for expanded features including processing credit card payments (for a fee).

Has anyone here used any of these products? Please share your thoughts/comments.

What's the fee for processing cc's?

Quote
Zip Pro is an upgrade that lets you accept online payments and improve cash flow. Pricing is as follows:

Fees: $35 per month, plus transaction fees

Credit card rate: 2.29% + 29¢
e-Check/ACH rate: 55¢
There is also a one-time ACH initiation fee of $10.

Not cheap, it seems.

I'm just saying compared to other services. I guess there are other factors, like how much you're processing each month.

This sector is getting really hot, with many companies floating offerings, there's no shortage ATM IMHO.
