CC Processor
« on: June 09, 2015, 12:25:41 PM »
I am a business owner and I recently opened a new bank account at my bank. My banker suggested that I go with the bank affiliated bank processor for my credit card swipes. i declined and started to look into various companies out there that offer cc processing. I thought that DD Forums might be a great way to find out and explore options as well as hear any good or bad experiences with your cc Processing company.......

How much % would your bank want to charge you per swipe?

By the time all the batching fees and funding fees close to 3%. Sounded high.

So far I see two companies that keep coming up on various forums. Fidelity and Banquest. I asked many people that I know about both and each has his/hers own opinion.

They are an ISO(Independent Sales Organization). All ISO's need a sponsoring bank and Wells Fargo is one of the biggest.

So, I know a few people that had credit card processing accounts with both Fidelity AND Banquest. To my understanding, there is no comparison... Banquest is the up and coming processor and hands down more transparent...

So really it seems like there are two runner-ups when it comes to CC processing. Fidelity and Banquest. I am leaning towards Banquest as a lot of brooklyn and lakewood based businesses that i know seem happy about them. Can anyone else give their opinion here before I make a decision?
