Agreed that the aircraft is not special, but the islands are the destinations? There's not even enough time to leave the airports...

Thanks for the links. I read through 3 of them. I kinda have the same opinion as I did before. No sites to see, no good pictures, no nice cabins... it is really is something to do just to say you did it. Ehhhh  :-\

the way i see it, to someone who has been almost everywhere there is to go in the world, the fun part now is just crossing countries off the list
you, despite having crossed off a bunch of european countries, have many places still to see, so this isnt as enticing

Can you really cross off a country if you only land in an airport? Perhaps you can add items to your "Airports you've flown through" list, but I don't think just landing in an airport counts as visiting a country. Even if you've seen it all, I feel like I'd rather stay in HNL and let other people spend 4 days jumping around while I stay in Hawaii.  ;)

It's totally not about "crossing off countries", it's the whole experience of flying and landing in these exotic airports.

So, nu?

question #2 (#1 was about remembering airport codes)
how do you dig up quotes like that? did you think of the mishna and you searched to see if it was ever posted? did you remember it being posted and then search?

  • Location: The value of a forum such as this one is not in that one can post a question and receive an answer, but in that the question has most likely been asked before, and the answer is available to him that will but only use the search function.
  • Programs: 1. Search on google. 2. Search in the right board of DDF with a general word or two. 3. Read the wiki. 4. Read the thread. 5. Ask away.
