Rebooked to skip ROR and return Thurs NRT-JFK

Thinking of going to ROR tomorrow and spending shabbos in NRT, but apparently the Sunday 440pm NRT-JFK flight crosses into shabbos?
Don't really understand why, though it could be that I havent slept in 4 days.

If sunset is reached 1:42 after takeoff I don't see how it crosses into shabbos anywhere.

So the Sunday flight is fine. Problem is AJK apparently does have a job and has to get to work for Friday.
So do I go to ROR by myself? Or just hang it up, head home, and see what the future holds?
