Business Card Debt
« on: June 14, 2015, 01:38:18 PM »
A friend of mine opened a small business with a partner. For whatever reason they have to close down the business before their next big season, leaving them with debt on the biz cc.
Is the cardholder held personally liable for the remaining debt?
Will leaving debt on the biz cc have the same negative implications as a personal credit card? (All the purchases were made for the business only)

TIA

Whoevers social it is under is personally liable.

Most business CC don't report to credit. Meaning a balance won't hurt them but missing payments will be a problem.
