Is anyone flying or know of anyone else flying from Boston to London Heathrow on Monday evening June 22, 7pm  American Airlines flight AA 6163?
My two teenagers are booked on that flight and now my husband can't travel with them. They can't fly without an accompanying adult. (Because they need to transfer to flight on another airlines to Israel. ) Happy to pay something for the favor. Any ideas?

She said BA won't hand minors to another airline to transfer in LHR. It seems kind of silly -- I mean they are in high school, not diapers.

How old are they? I've flown myself not as an unaccompanied minor as a young teenager

Why is the transfer any of BA's business?

Sorry twitchy thumbs.  I don't know the details. I had same questions.  I will pass along everyone's sentiments.  Thanks again.

To fly as an UM the minor needs to be dropped off with the airline and picked up from the airline. The FA needs to transfer the child to the hands of their guardian.
A BA FA won't just go drop your child off at an LY gate. That would be irresponsible.

Per http://www.britishairways.com/en-gb/information/special-assistance/children-travelling-alone if they are over 12, they don't need to fly as an UM

That's excellent.  I'll pass it along. (not sure whey she didn't look there herself. I guess it's possible one of the boys is 12 or under. ) IN any case, thanks again!

I have a friend who lives in the LHR area who can potentially stop by the airport to help out. Is that what you are looking for?

That is an extremely thoughtful offer. Actually, she told me that she was able to rebook her son, age 12, all the way straight through to TLV via LH so she is all set.  Thank you for your response!
