What is the best credit card to use for car rentals, I happen to be specifically debating between the Continental Onepass Plus and the Amex Platinum?

OnePass Plus is primary.

Of course if you don't have car insurance than there's no difference.

BTW my car insurance doesn't cover rentals unless the car is at the shop (or possibly even if garaged).

Just to clarify because its always so confusing... but that does that mean that as long as i book it on the Onepass CC it will cover all insurance?

No.
If you accept CDW from the rental car company then the CC won't give you CDW.

Nope, pretty much anywhere in the world but Israel.

Probably due to the combo of the scamming privately owned rental car mafia there and some of the craziest drivers on the planet...

Better yet Dan! In the summer a truck shot up a pebble and cracked my windshield on a Budget rental. The rental was on a Chase CO Business card and I remember now that they ended up paying for the full damage charged by Budget. Is there a reason to suspect anything has changed? Is it better to use Amex Plat as a rule of thumb?

I've heard this before. How does it make sense?
Shouldn't the agency that covers CDW in israel when using other MC Worlds work for a all MC worlds, including the CO one?
