Hi . I need some help. I got a mail offer from Amex platinum to add an additional cardholder for miles. I added the cardholder by phone and received the card. When we called to see the spending threshold for receiving the offer they said we would receive $400 statement credit when we spent $3000 (not miles.) we never received it after spending $3000. We called back. They said it was coming. They now say both employees were mistaken and they will not stand by the offer or give miles, despite hearing the conversations. They will also not allow us to cancel the card. I have called back number times and filed a complaint. No action, yet. What’s my next step? Thank you for your help.
