Cell phone plan for europe/israel

I'm going to Europe (Ireland, England, Switzerland) and Israel for a few weeks and want to know the best way to have some phone and data access while there. I'd rather use as few Sim cards as possible. What are the best options? I'd like a few gigs of data ideally.

If you get the 99 sheq Golan plan you would have 20 GB of data in all those country but calling and txting when not in Israel is limited to only incoming for free, outgoing to non Israeli numbers has an extra charge I'm not sure how much.

How much does T-mo charge for calling (i think they only have unlimited text and data).

I went to England and then to Israel and used Unlimited Israel. (Its a little pricey in Eurpoe $10/day-- but you get unlimited everything-- although you have to use an access number to call america and israel)- oh and they give 2 sims-- one for europe and one for israel

Would only be about $60-$70 for the month. Use VOIP apps to avoid 20 cent per minute charge. 

When you get the plan, make sure to ask them about the international data / confirm that you're getting it*.
Don't forget to cancel service once you get back to America.

Definitely an option. But I'm guessing I can't use my in-contract Sprint phone without unlocking on t-mobile's  network...

Sprint would have to unlock for you but ime they always screw up.. Especially since its a usa sim inside

I've used Google Voice multiple times from Israel to the U.S., never had an issue.

Their cheapest plan should be less then $70 for the month.
But let's say it is $70.. $70 / 14 = $5 a day. Can you get any daily rate plans for cheaper? If so there's your answer.
If it's more then 14 days then it's even cheaper per day..

The Golan plan in Israel is enticing but I'm not sure that there's a way to get the sim in america. Other than that - Not too familiar with my options. Does tm require credit checks for new customers?

There is a new website that ships golan sims to the U.S. Try it out, let us all know how it goes.

I believe they do on the post paid
