When was this comment? This is the first time I've seen it and it's despicable, it probably was not intentional but it shows a deeply held bias.

Just as when a Brooklynite who asks a non-Brooklynite NYer "when are you coming to NY?" shows that they feel that Brooklyn is the main part of NY, this comment shows that deep down he feels that they're not "real" Americans.

He was asked why he feels the new voting rights bill is not necessary. He said it's because Blacks vote just as much as other Americans.
