The good part of a sholem zucher sometimes is that I'm yoitze for the vacht nacht already. Especially when the location is much closer than the Vach nacht.

Growing up in lakewood, I had the exact same experience. I was shocked to find out a vacht nach can be more than shema and pekelach.

Yup, something I was warned when I moved to Lakewood, when your neighbor has a boy don't knock on the door to say mazel tov unless you verify that they're expecting guest

When I was learning in EY I found out that not everyone stays up till the morning
when I moved to Lakewood I found out that not everyone has a vachnacht on their simcha checklist

There are worse events, like an upsherinish, but at least they have redeeming qualities for some attendees. No one wants to go to a Sholom zochor (other than the Charlies of the world)

Her position is actually far more consistent than the D’s attacking her. If you are willing to give up some vote integrity because you believe voter ID is discriminatory against blacks/Hispanics, you should be screaming about the extreme discrimination that vaccine mandates cause to the same group.

Voter ID is supposedly discrimination against a tiny amount of people that might be too dumb/lazy to get ID, but can get it if they really cared. Vaccine mandates is extreme discrimination against the large percentage of blacks that don’t want to vaccinate, and historically, were used as vaccine guinea pigs.
