Is the AA 25000 signup bonus dead?
« on: September 08, 2008, 02:35:07 PM »
When I went to apply online I noticed in the fine print that the bonus is for all cards "applied for by August 31, 2008".
Anybody know anything about that?
(on the subject of dead bonuses...I got an email from SPG about their new flights option and there's a p.s. that you can still transfer points to mileage "most on a 1:1 basis?!?!)

It's 1:1 unless you transfer in increments of 20,000, then you get a 5,000 bonus so you'll get 25,000 miles, or a 1:1.25 ratio.
