speaking about hard pulls, i just bumped 9 pulls off equifax, down from 11 to 2. my score went up from 668 to 708 in 30 days, and when i lower my utilization from 44% i should be doing great. I hope to be able to post all the details this week, i should be bored this week.
did u dispute them?

Sounds like he bumped off inquiries by submitting numerous self-inquiries, tactic discussed elsewhere on the web. Although, I thought it no longer worked.

Yeah I thought it won't work because checking out your own score isn't hard pull? Anyhow does anyone know how long an inquiry stays on the report? And for how long it affects credit score? My recent inquiries really dragged down my score :(

I think they stay on the report and are a factor of your score for 2 years. How many inquiries are we talking about?

if you were denied, you can appeal their decision for up to 90 days without a new pull, and if i'm not mistaken once you appeal you extend a further 90 days from then if they deny you again.

there shouldn't be a need to reapply and have another score pulled

90 days? With which issuer?

IIRC with Chase it's only within 30 (or at most 60) days.
