So we all know that many airlines match status as well as some hotel programs. Does anyone know if car rental programs have status matching? No guessing please just let me know if you have been able to do it.

Also Dan, Can you use your AA lifetime to match every year? Or do they only let once?

Most programs allow you to status match only once, As far as car rentals programs from my experience YMMV

American no longer matches, they (along with many others now like CO, UA, US, SPG, and Hyatt) just do challenges.

I don't think you can match directly to delta. Match to a star alliance airline, and from there to delta. Why waste a delta status match if you get same benefits using Alaska mvp? I've gotten upgrade/priority boarding and priority luggage with it when I flew on delta

i just sent in today to get 1k status for UA from delta diamond account.
will i be able to take the 1k status and match it to another airline? AA? what would i get?

UA only matches to platinum

I have a question for everyone...I am being offered a gift of gold status on Delta. I don't fly all that much during the year, but I definitely do 1 trip a year to Israel (on United).
If I take the gift, where should I status match it to maximize the benefits?

Does Aegean status matched gold status last 3 years as well?

I don't think that's true...I tried to do a status match to Aegean from BMI and they asked for my card (which of course I couldn't find)...this was in september...
