Aegean does a challenge. Just went united to Aegean and had a year to fly 20,000 miles (done on united) to get 4 years of gold status. How easily can I match American platinum to Alaskan air?

I was about to laugh my head off until I saw the part where you mention "done on united". Does this mean that the fare classes that normally only earn %50 on Aegean will earn %100 for the purposes of the challenge?

I received 50% on some, 100% on some. It depends on the fare Class you travel in. 3 trips in 1 year did it.

So a fare that usually earns 50% on A3 can earn 100% if you challenge

Simple: did they give it to you for 90 days, or for a year plus?

I'm guessing a challenge is for 90 days? Can you get them to challenge it again after the 90 days are up? Or they realize it and say no?

There is an official* limit of once in 5 years, IIRC.

* Like everything else in this game, there are workarounds...

You can generally tell if when signed into your account you click this link. If it shows you a card you got a match. If it give you an error, you got a challenge.
