This bill is wrong on so many levels.
Which others?

Religion - Wokeism - Cult
Interesting use of words.
From Penn U. :
Cult is a term that doesn't refer to religion at all, but is applied to a social movement.

The way to hell is paved with good intentions.
That's great but this isn't about religion.
If you are not able to separate religion from this, then you are not able to look at this objectively.

Thank you.

We can play this game all day.

cult
1 - a system of religious veneration and devotion directed toward a particular figure or object:
2 - a relatively small group of people having religious beliefs or practices regarded by others as strange or sinister:

The fact is all religions are basically cults. Some much more than others.

I never said you mention your or anyones religion. You and others have injected religion into the discussion.

Tell me you didn't mention religion without mentioning religion.  :)

True. This is about chopping healthy body parts off children, pumping them full of drugs, and rendering them sterile in pursuit of childhood fantasy or, at best, a mental condition.
WPATH has no minimum age for transition and affirmation.

Where? By pointing out we don't treat any other mental illness this way and that there's no data to back this up?

That is how you want to frame it.

Having read the amendment to the bill, and not just gone off the headlines:
The republican majority seems to have introduced an amendment to strike this from the bill https://legiscan.com/ID/text/H0071/2023

Thank you for posting a link to the actual bill!

The whole medical profession agrees to this? I think not. anti-vaxxers have some doctors on their side too
What does the medical profession (i.e. current consensus) agree to? The CBS article OP posted claimed:
Quote
American Medical Association, American Academy of Pediatrics and American Psychiatric Association, support gender-affirming care for youth
Are they misquoting? Are these 3 organizations "fringe" or not representative of the consensus?

The bill says (in 10b-e,g)references things like:
Quote
peer-reviewed research...Some healthcare providers...Recent science suggests...

In fact the only "association" they do quote (10f) is the world professional association for transgender health (no idea who/what that is) which removed age recomendations for surgeries and then the bill (seemingly) baselessly dismissed them due to ignoring "known harms and experimental nature".

Do they give a link to who they are quoting or the "known harms"? Quoting individual anonymous healthcare providers/unreferenced peer reviewed research/"known harms and experimental nature" sounds more anti-vaxxer like...

I don't really like Matt Walsh from Daily Wire, but his What is a Woman film has some good moments. Like when he asked a top gender-affirming clinician about the minimum age, and she said that bat 3 years old, kids can already recognize their reality. To which he replied, "My 3-year old believes in Santa Claus, is that reality?"

The APA vote was conducted in an extremely underhanded way if I remember correctly. These organizations also support age limits of around 16 if my memory is correct, and the "gender-affirming care" umbrella euphemism encompasses a lot of things, some of which these organizations don't support. This is all off memory of the Inyan.

Speaking of mutilation and religion, are we ready to stop mutilating male infants and children — AKA circumcision ?

Let them decide as adults if and when to do this irreversible mutilating procedure!

Does this bill have any medical professions backing their claims?

Experimental is because of the lack of peer reviewed, long term studies, and the known harms include: Sterility, removal of healthy body tissue, side effects from surgeries such as faloplasty, and many others.
