I have the BMI silver card and the account shows silver. Would it work if I match to Delta and then to CO -- all in the next 18 days before my flight to Israel when I meet the 10k mile requirement? Or is it really unlikely they both will process so quickly?

status match seems to take a while, but you should look online to see your status changing.

Co takes a little over a week, and here azgain, check online.

Earlier this week I got matched to Alaska MVP from BMI Silver until Dec. 31 2011.

Yes, Alaska Airlines MVP gets you 2 free bags on Delta. I am not sure if it gets you free bags for everyone under your itinerary though.

I don't know about the whole party, but it seems each of your bags can be up to 70 lbs.

"SkyMiles Medallion® members, Million Milers, Flying Colonels, Air France & KLM Elites, and Alaska Air MVP & MVP Gold Members traveling in Economy may check up to two bags up to 70 lbs (32 kg) each at no charge on Delta and Delta Connection operated flights."

I Faxed in to delta a request to status match for two accounts on 2-13, today it showed up in both Accouts As Gold Medallion.
is Bmi Silver same as to delta gold?
