Question, please:
I still have BMI Silver (and therefore Star Alliance silver) from last year's deal and I do not scam so I did not sign up for the latest BMI under a different email as some suggested.
I read on DD that American/OneWorld, and Delta as well, would Status Match.
I only fly a few times a year, typically, but if I do request a status match to either or both airlines/alliances, I would to get as much use as possible from it.
What would be the best way to do this and for what length of time is each airline (AA and Delta) status matching?
Also, will UAL status match (90 days) once per year or is it once in a lifetime?
For example, status match to Delta get Delta elite for x months then after x months status match to AA and get y months. Hopefully a new Star Alliance deal will come out by then, or there will be a way to transfer that back to Star Alliance.
Does anyone either know the best way to do this or have any other ideas?
Maybe Dan can address this on the site? I'm sure many people have BMI from last year and would like to keep that elite status on any possible airline(s).
Good Shabbos and Happy Purim.
