Oh c'mon! Was a great read.

You obviously can't expect a review of a Ford Focus to be as exciting as that of a Lamborghini Aventador...

Why? Did anyone say he shouldn't?
I'm not who you think I am.

Something else to consider: lots of DDMS readers would consider an international trip way out of their mileage, planning, league. Even if it was all spelled out or broken down for them. Since we have ones on Yellowstone, Arizona, Colorado, Florida, California, etc..., it may be wise to start with those. It will probably be much more relatable to the DDMS crowd.

The point of many of the TR's here is that aspirational travel is very attainable.

I disagree.
Most ddms'ers still enjoy a good and fascinating article/TR, for example the island hopper TR, IMHO.

Dan are you looking to publish old TR's or a way to encourage new ones?

I find lots of domestic city's are lacking good reports, (and yes I started writing 3 TR's and...)

A different issue with international travel is that it's usually more time off from work and more time consuming to plan, not everybody has AJK's boss!I do hear both sides though, so I guess a mix of both would be best.

I think this is long overdue. But, I'd be pretty selective about the ones you post. Everyone knows the different between a TR that was done just to be "yotze"  and a TR that work went into. I'd only post those in latter category. Or, if there is a unique aspect, such as writing style, destination, occurrence etc. Goes without saying the TR would have to be grammatically correct and edited.

Also, I'd give the author the opportunity to respond to DDMS comments.
