I thought you only have to do one day?
Ask your local CRONY

Too risky for my blood. In that very situation I stayed in HNL for shabbos and went onward on Sunday.

Also the Andaz OGG requires a significant amount of work to make the room shabbos friendly.  No simple overrides like older hotels have.

but arriving in hnl at 1:18 is fine?

The law is that a plane can leave up to 3 hours late.  After that you can request to go back to PHL.
If it's 3 hours late you'd still make it to a hotel in HNL on time for shabbos. In OGG you wouldn't.

Anything is possible. If something is wrong with the plane or bad weather it can be delayed for hours. I took a 1 hr & 45 min flight to myrtle beach a few weeks ago that was delayed a few hrs and eventually canceled
